Similar to None!

Right off the bat, I can tell you that we share so little common interest. From TV shows to food taste to attitude: We are completely opposite.
But having this five year relationship is awesome, to say the least. And eventually, we have adjusted to agree to disagree and to share different views without bringing out the knife.
One of my interests is automobile. I do not remember how I learned to love it but offer only a theory: My father is a Mechanical Engineer and I was raised in a motor pool. My toys are the forklifts and cranes and bulldozers from the work place of my father. He even told me I learned how to ride a bike way before even know how to count one to ten.
I shared this to the girlfriend and after several car shows, she started to talk cars the way I do. She agreed that if ever we can afford to buy her a car, she would like it to be rugged. A pickup or an SUV. She wants a manly car so it will not get bullied on the streets.
I even allowed her to drive me around riding shotgun on a rocky surface on a dune buggy knowing that it is her first time driving. But that was the end of it and it never happened again because I was screaming to her to be careful we might be pulling ourselves from the cliff (if we're lucky to still be alive).
The girlfriend might raise an eyebrow here so I will also share her home turf: Beach. She said she is a mermaid and I will not argue because I don't know how to swim properly.
I am not very fond of sunburn and Middle East temperatures but I managed to withstand all our beach escapades without fainting! I am proud to say that. She bought me a rash guard and a cool sunglasses and a snorkeling mask just so I will join her swimming at lunch time. Just imagine the bribe. We even bought an action cam so she could record my miserable self drowning on 5-foot water.
I made this article to share our experiences getting along with one another. It is with pride that after all the years together, our relationship is as fresh and young. We continue to know about each other and share how our differences made us who we are today. And we are just getting started.
